Blackened iron has been treated with a black oxidised finish for corrosive resistance and a beautiful deep rich black lustre. Our iron products are then sealed with a satin or matte gloss lacquer finish for further protection.

Due to the inherent properties of iron, even once lacquered, when exposed to the air, salt & varied climates, oxidisation & patina will occur over time.
